Is any sunscreen truly sweat-proof?

No. Choose water-resistant sunscreen and follow its stated swimming or sweating limit. Reapply after towelling and according to the label. Plan around sweat.

Can I use the same sunscreen for hiking and surfing?

Often, yes. Choose broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, water resistance and a texture you can apply generously. Reapplication and clothing still matter. Build your sun strategy.

How often should I reapply outdoors?

At least every two hours, after towel drying and according to the label after swimming or sweating. A 40- or 80-minute water-resistance limit may require earlier reapplication.

Do I need sunscreen when it is cloudy or windy?

Cloud and cool wind do not reliably indicate UV exposure. Check the local UV forecast and use suitable clothing, shade and sunscreen.

Should I wash my face before every workout?

Not necessarily. If it is already clean, another wash may be unnecessary. Adapt to your skin and activity rather than adding repeated cleansing.

Do I need to double cleanse after sunscreen?

Only if one gentle wash does not remove it comfortably. A two-step cleanse is an option, not a requirement. Find a gentle reset.

What if I cannot shower straight after exercise?

Change out of damp clothing when possible, use clean water for a gentle rinse if available and wash properly when suitable facilities are accessible.

Does salt water treat acne?

Sea water is not a reliable acne treatment and may sting irritated skin. Rinse with fresh water when practical and follow your treatment plan.

Can moisturiser replace sunscreen?

No. A moisturiser without labelled SPF does not provide sunscreen protection. Even an SPF moisturiser must be applied adequately and reapplied as directed. Understand moisture care.

When should I get help for irritated skin?

Seek professional advice for persistent rash, painful cracking, spreading redness or recurrent symptoms. Severe blistering or illness after sun exposure needs prompt medical advice.
